This workshop shows interactive strategies that educators, parents or carers can use to teach topics related to relationships. The workshop discusses ways to teach the best practice of Sexuality and Relationships Education, dating, health relationships, consent, rejection and break ups. *Please note: This is a professional development workshop for parents, carers, students, teachers and health professionals.

The Relationships Education Workshop explores main topics related to relationships through an interactive approach. Topics include best practice of Sexuality and Relationships Education, dating, health relationships, consent, rejection and break ups which are important life skills for people to know. At the same time, they are not easy skills to teach and can be even more difficult to teach to people with disability.

This workshop is activity-based so that educators and carers have strategies and assistance to teach these complex topics. The workshop is designed to teach participants the activities they can run with their clients/students/children. It is not a workshop for them to learn the content, it is for them to learn the process to introducing and running activities. The workshop was developed to support educators with practical suggestions that they can use outside of the workshop and into their role so that feel supported, equipped and know where they can find more assistance if needed.
